940 788 Great Deals Made Easy

In this article, I review the new supermarket cashback App Shopmium. I explain how it works, what are the typical cashback offers, is it worth installing and also share a code to get you a free tub of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream (I know, very generous of me).

What is Shopmium?

Shopmium is a free app that lets you get exclusive offers for everyday products that you buy at the supermarket anyway. The site offers more than £50 of savings each week, from free ice cream, to water, to 50% off cat food. It is essentially a wallet of online coupons for multiple retailers that you can claim from one app, so a lot less hassle then when you had to collect paper coupons. All you need to do is take a photo of the bill receipt and scan in the products on promotion. 3 – 7 days later, you get the money back via PayPal or BACS, simples.

Is Shopmium app free?

The Shopmium app is free to download – browse offers via the App. Download. It is free as brands like to get new customers (you) through tempting offer and changing your shopping behaviour. I for one often get the same groceries most weeks. Use ga8yq3 to get a free gift on registration. How about a free tub of Ben & Jerry’s? How does Shopmium Work?

Simply download the Shopmium app for free from either Google Play or iTunes. Once you’ve got the app installed on your phone, you can start browsing the offers. Enter my code and get a free tub of ice cream. You’ll need to register with Shopmium through to start claiming cashback. You can do this either by connecting your Facebook account or entering your details manually. When you set your account up, you also select how you want to receive your cashback – via PayPal or via BACS. PayPal is the quickest, as it gets paid into your account within 3 working days (or less). Bank transfers, on the other hand, can take up to 7 working days.

My experience of Shopmium

After downloading the App, I selected the relevant offers, including the “free tub of ice cream” and I filtered the results by the Supermarket I wanted to visit. I chose my local Sainsbury’s. After arriving I spent some time finding the items, bought them, scanned the receipt and the products’ bar code. I received the cashback several days later.

What is bad about Shopmium?

It can take time to find these items, even in the bigger stores. Some items are also not stocked in the supermarkets, despite being available on the App. Some may argue, you do buy items, you don’t need, even at 50% off.

Overall Is Shopmium worth it?

Overall, I’ve give Shopmium 4/5. Shopmium is a good App, as it encourages you to try new items In terms of saving money. Shopmium highlights you can save £50 a week, I think £5-10 a week (if you are an average user) is more realistic, as some items you frankly won’t want. Try it now and an least get a free tub of ice cream – Just download the Shopmium app and enter my referral code ga8yq3 (I also get £3).
